NEWS FROM
THE MILLS BROTHERS™

Focus remains on delivering the quality and sound of The Mills Brothers™ in concert.  We will continue to tour throughout the coming year (s) as The Mills Brothers™, delivering the world-renown show.  Elmer and I remain deeply committed to The Mills Brothers™ audiences, many of whom have supported this music for several generations.

I assure you that my team of personal representatives, public relations advisors and entertainment agencies, are working harder than ever to book us in quality venues, with outstanding musicians and at the finest events for fans to attend and enjoy.

It is time to grow, again.

Some artistic goals for 2006:

  • On the internet, The Mills Brothers web-presence continues to generate new interest and appreciation.

In 2006 we hope to enable fans who visit the site the opportunity to converse with each other in real time.  We are in the process of redesigning the site, and are intending to soon have a blog.  Also, streaming video is in the mix.

New Business...

The pursuit of creative opportunities, that allow us to perform in the mainstream of commercial adult contemporary radio, is a natural progression that Elmer and I are actively seeking.

We are songwriters, singers and musicians, in need of defining and demonstrating talents that we disengaged, during the more than 20 years of touring the classic sounds of The Mills Brothers™ and The Platters.

As the future is now, we are going to draw upon the musicians and industry professionals in our circles of influence, asking that they collaborate with us on new musical ventures.  Just as the body needs minerals and nutrients to flourish, Elmer and I need to fuel our imaginations and push our collective talents further.

It is my intent to record and perform with a more diverse group of artists in the future.  There is a sense of urgency to expand our audiences, while remaining faithful to our loyal fans.  Without a doubt, this will be a delicate transition.  We must maximize our efforts artistically and ambitiously pursue creative public relations campaigns.

A well devised plan to generate media exposure is vital.  Television is by far the most important vehicle to increase our commercial visibility.  The Home Shopping Network, QVC, radio and television based infomercials are the immediate targets.  I hope to couple with a savvy and knowledgeable media partner, to put us on course and forward our progress.

The public relations avenues that artists such as Rod Stewart, Michael Buble and Harry Connick, Jr. travel, are a perfect roadmap.  All  are capitalizing on the music that legendary performers, such as The Mills Brothers™, led to market for better than 70 years.  The Hollywood Reporter's review, stating that this music is "important", says a great deal.

It is "important" that we get across to our expanding audiences, what we have done, with regards to historical significance and what we are doing, with regards to artistic integrity.

What would you like the website to offer?  What changes would you like in our show?  Will you support a show, in which Elmer and I perform new music?  Are you happy with the direction and path of The Mills Brothers™?

I want to thank each and every visitor.  Without the audience...what show?
